John Fitzgerald
John has worked internationally within the baggage handling industry since 1996. He began as a software engineer developing SCADA systems for Auckland International Airport. Since then John has had involvement in many major automated baggage sortation projects throughout the world.
John's roles have included system commissioning, project management, and system layout design. More recently John has been involved in company and sales management, and international sales and contract negotiations. John also spent time managing the overall Canadian operation for Glidepath.
Tristan Last
Tristan has worked internationally within the automation industry in both the airport and logistic space since 2008. Prior to this he worked across a range of engineering disciplines in both design and implementation. He began his involvement within the materials handling industry delivering projects across the globe for Glidepath in 2008. Since then, he has managed all aspects of project design and delivery in both the airport and logistic space.
Tristan’s roles have included system design, commissioning, and project management. More recently Tristan has been involved at an executive level in company management covering both sales and project delivery.
Roeland Kruiswijk
Roeland has worked within the international baggage handling industry since 1998. He began developing an automated testing process for automated baggage systems in Australia. Since then he has been involved in many major automated baggage sortation projects.
Roeland’s roles have included system commissioning management, project and contract management, and system design. Roeland has also spent time working for airlines and airports on their understanding and control over the baggage process. Roeland is a qualified Chemical & Materials Engineer and brings a process focus, having spent many years within the steel industry.
Paddy Charles
Paddy has worked internationally within the baggage handling industry since 2002. He began as an Electrical Project Engineer for the Terminal 3, Toronto International Airport expansion project. Since then, Paddy has been involved in many major automated baggage sortation projects around the world.
Paddy’s roles have included automation systems design, system commissioning, project management, and system layout design. More recently Paddy in his role of Technical Manager has been involved in the integration management of all Alstef NZ’s BHS Projects.
Scott Cornwall
Scott has been involved within the baggage handling industry since 2000, co-founding and managing an IT/software company to develop and integrate BHS and Logistics HLC/SAC systems, the company has since merged into Daifuku Airport Technologies.
Scott’s roles have included BHS system design, project management and product design, with Product Manager responsibility for HLC/SAC, Simulation, Emulation, 2D + 3D SCADA and Automated Bag Drop products. Scott has an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree and now provides a technology focus for BHS and Logistics system design and consulting projects.
